What is The Leadership Challenge®?
The Leadership Challenge® is based on more than 35 years of research and application by noted leadership experts James Kouzes and Barry Pozner. It uses a 360-degree survey to measure the frequency in which a leader demonstrates 30 critical leadership behaviors and 5 leadership practices.

The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® is a proven framework that has empowered countless leaders worldwide. Attendees will learn to Model the Way, Inspire a Shared Vision, Challenge the Process, Enable Others to Act, and Encourage the Heart – key pillars that drive sustainable leadership success.

Through interactive activities, real-world simulations, and personalized coaching, participants not only gain a deep understanding of leadership principles but also develop the skills needed to apply them effectively in their daily professional lives.

What will the learning experiences be?
Rubicon’s facilitators are experts at bringing engaging and
interactive learning
to the virtual environment. Participants will interact within large groups, small
groups, and pairs. Each participant will also receive one-on-one coaching from
the instructor on their 360 survey results and action plan.

Participants will apply their action plans and report on their progress at the beginning of the each module.
MODULE #1
The LPI® 360 Survey
In this kickoff session, learners will begin their leadership journeys by
discussing the 30 behaviors that leaders exhibit, sharing stories of our
leadership heroes, and receiving the detailed results of their 360 surveys.

Identify key elements in creating a leadership vision

Create a vision for the future of the team, department, or organization

Practice presenting the vision in a way that generates buy-in and commitment from the team

Post-Training 1:1 Coaching

Each participant will receive a 1-hour coaching session to review progress
made throughout modules #1-6 and create a long-term plan to apply the key
insights and learnings from the 360 results.

Review the most admired characteristics of effective leaders

Determine which leadership behaviors need to change to align actions with values

Post-Training Check-in

After having time to apply their action plans, participants will get back together
as a group to share their progress, get ideas and feedback, and continue
practicing the skills learned throughout the program.
